structure of the system

This section describes the structure of the system that we will offer to corporations for modernizing their current strategic planning activities.

Our solution to the shortcomings of traditional strategic planning is a computer-automated system that looks and operates like this.

The system is a software platform that is located in the cloud where it can be accessed by strategy executives 24 hours every day.

The software will consist of a grouping of robotic process analysis (RPA), artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and eventually natural language processing (NLP).

Algorithms in those areas will import and aggregate data from a variety of sources, both internal and external. Internal data about the customer’s resources and competencies will come from its own records, databases, and operations. External data concerning markets (and customers), competitors, and the general environment will come from internal sources (like the corporate marketing department) and numerous external sources (publicly available and proprietary).

Algorithms and data will reside in the cloud.

Algorithmic operations will take place in the cloud, where they will clean, sort, and analyze the data.

Algorithms will reach conclusions and report them to management.

Because each corporation operates in a different setting (geographic location, faces different challenges, and defines its strategic vision in different ways, it will access a unique system custom-designed for it.

Client strategy managers will be able to wait for reports issued by the system, or initiate requests for specific information from the system.

Strategy leaders will be able to make lightning-fast, real-time strategic decisions at any time.

Some features of the  system will be marketable as free-standing products.

The system interface will have more than one channel.

  • The system algorithms will independently import data from various sources, process them, and translate the findings into reports that are submitted to strategy managers.
  • On the basis of the imported data, the system will calculate key metrics and display them in different formats – multiple graphic displays in a virtual “command center”, single dashboard presenting critical or specifically requested metrics, emphasizing trends and movements in metrics, specific metrics requested by individual users. (Think of a Bloomberg terminal.)
